What is the treatment:

Biostimulators, like Sculptra & Aesplla, are injectable substances that stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. Unlike traditional fillers that add immediate volume, biostimulators work gradually with long-lasting results, restoring natural facial volume and providing a natural-looking enhancement by improving skin thickness and elasticity over time.  

Which areas can be treated:

• Buttocks 
• Face
• Hands
• Neck 

How long is the treatment:

30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area. 

Pre-care Instructions:

3 to 7 days before - Avoid general blood thinners e.g. Aspirin, Voltaren, Ibuprofen, Omega supplements 

2 to 3 days before - Avoid alcohol

How will the procedure be performed:

Biostimulator injections (e.g., Sculptra/Aesplla) involve the following steps:

Consultation: The practitioner discusses the patient's goals and assesses the treatment areas.

Cleansing: The treatment area is cleaned to reduce the risk of infection.

Injection: The biostimulator is injected into the skin using a cannula.

Massage: The practitioner will massage the treated area to ensure even distribution of the product and remove nodules.

Post-Treatment Care: Apply an antibiotic ointment over treated areas to prevent infection through the inoculation sites.

Post-care Instructions:

Massage treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for the first 5 days to prevent/remove nodules. Resume normal activities, use gentle skincare.

Onset of the Effect:

Gradual improvement over weeks to months.

Duration of the Results:

Long-lasting up to 25 months, may require maintenance.

How often should you do the treatment:

2 to 3 sessions may be required 6 weeks apart initially, then maintenance every 6 to 12 months.
